"I don't feel like talking to anyone, I say to myself, But deep down, I crave to talk with everyone"

This world has come to believe that introverts are timid, boring, dull people. Well this couldn't be more far from the truth. We are one of the most adventurous people with a good sense of humor. It is just that we show our "real" and "hidden" sides to a very few and by a very few I actually mean a very few. We are very sensitive people. We take time to actually start caring about someone but once we do, we care a lot about them. We are ready to go to any lengths to help that person and we are very reliable! But at the same time, we get hurt easily and the reason might seem very stupid to you'll.

Yes we need our space. We need to be left alone quite often. We can't tell you'll about every single thing happening in our lives, because of our trust issues. We might just ghost away for a couple of days, please don't misunderstand us. Sometimes, our social life seems too overwhelming. So we need to calm ourselves down by isolating ourselves from this chaotic world. We might not want to come to every party we're invited to, so don't force us . We might not pick up every call and reply to every text. We don't like wasting our time just talking and gossiping. We like to be productive, even with friends. If you are going to tell us about the conversations you had with other people in your life, we ain't gonna like it. We prefer talking about the world and life in general. If we have taken out time for you, please appreciate it and don't drain us. We don't like to be a part of a large group because there are more chances of feeling left out then. Sometimes we act weird around too many people, please don't judge us. It is because of our social anxiety.

The main motive of this article was to tell everyone that although introverts prefer being alone, they too have this strong feeling of being wanted and accepted. They crave to be understood by people. They are often taken for granted and secluded from the world. If you happen to know an introverted person, I request you to make that person feel appreciated and tell them that they matter. Yes, you need to take the first step, but I promise you won't regret it. There's a lot of interesting stuff you would learn about that person.
